<p><span style="font-family: Georgia; font-size: medium;">Double Crossed Wines recently interviewed Bennett King,</span><span style="font-family: ; font-size: medium;"> a 30 year veteran and consultant for the wine industry on his </span><span style="font-family: Georgia; font-size: medium;">views regarding wine aerators. Bennett is also an expert on rare and fine wines.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-family: Georgia; font-size: medium;">He works with Double Crossed to find you any wine you may be searching for. Whether it’s vintage french or just a classic hard to find wine, we can procure it for you. Bennett can be contacted directly at: </span><a href="mailto:bennettdking@doublecrossedwines.com" target="_blank"><span style="font-family: Georgia; font-size: medium;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">bennettdking@doublecrossedwines.com</span></span></a></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Georgia; font-size: medium;">*** </span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Georgia; font-size: medium;"><strong>Double Crossed Wines:</strong> Bennett, what are your thoughts on the recent rise of popularity and use of wine aerators on the market. Tell me about the kind you like and the kind you don’t like and why. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Georgia; font-size: medium;"><strong>Bennett King:</strong> I don’t use any aerators at all. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Georgia; font-size: medium;"><strong>DCW:</strong> Ok…</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Georgia; font-size: medium;"><strong>BK:</strong> I’ll tell you why&#8230; Because it forces air through in bubbles, and what it does is throw the wine into shock. Now, if you can aerate a wine and let it sit for a half an hour, you know, great, that’s fine, because the wines gonna calm down, relax and become balanced again. But if you aerate a wine and shoot it into your glass and drink it, it’s gonna be completely out of balance. It’s going to be whacked. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Georgia; font-size: medium;"><strong>DCW:</strong> Really&#8230;</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Georgia; font-size: medium;"><strong>BK:</strong> It’s going to be whacked with air. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Georgia; font-size: medium;"><strong>DCW:</strong> So really what we’re talking about is… if your pour a glass of wine and let it rest for a half an hour it’s gonna essentially do the same thing.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Georgia; font-size: medium;"><strong>BK:</strong> Same thing, and actually the best way to do it is to decant it. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Georgia; font-size: medium;">Aeration for people who don’t have time…and people who don’t have time, shouldn’t be drinking wine to begin with. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Georgia; font-size: medium;"><strong>DCW:</strong> I like that. That’s what it’s all about.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Georgia; font-size: medium;"><strong>BK:</strong> Yeah ! (<em>Laughs</em></span>)</p>
<p><span style="font-family: Georgia; font-size: medium;"><strong>DCW:</strong> Well Hey Bro, thanks for that, I appreciate it. Well there you go. </span><br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia; font-size: medium;"> </span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Georgia; font-size: medium;"> </span></div>
